Instrumentation Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
1. In depth knowledge of all instrument like Pressure gauge, Temp. Gauges, Level Gauges, RTD, Thermocouple, transmitters (Pressure, Level & Temperature)
2. Preparation of detailed Instrument specification for package units.
3. Knowledge of hazardous area classification
4. Selection of Instruments as per specification
5. Preparation of Instrument cable schedule and hook up drawings
6. Detail knowledge of Instruments, Vibration Monitoring Systems, PLC systems, SCADA, DCS
7. Reviewing all the technical data sheets received from vendors
8. Preparation of Junction Box drawings and wiring Diagram
9. Preparation of I/o list and Instrument Index
10. Knowledge of loop wiring drawings
Candidate should have knowledge on -
1. Knowledge of Instrument cables, glands, panels
2. Basic Knowledge motors, local control stations & Annunciation Panel
3. Working in stage gate system
4. Maintaining relationships with vendors
